Lonsdale Street Challenge

We spent the early evening tonight at Italian and Sons for dinner.

Let me tell you, the hype is true! The food was amazing and the decor very minimal but stylish. I loved the lighting!

The lovely and I had a range of entrees- carpaccio, eggplant and king prawns – as well as focaccia, a two cheese platter (Brunet goats and a hard sheep’s cheese) and finished with honey panna cotta with pears.

All the meals were wonderfully balanced in flavour and we shared everything halved and we were satisfied with the amount of food.

If you were expecting a massive serving you would be disappointed though. There was no risk of waste! But around us the pasta plates and pizzas looked a reasonable size (there was a reviewer who was very unhappy with his portion).

Not cheap, at $150 including tip but well worth it!

No food shots because we couldn’t resist anything long enough to take a photo! So just the remnants for you friends!

Wishing you all the happiness the Universe can bring
